Since it's introduction in 1985, the RJ series set the standard by which all open face helmets are measured. Shoei's latest offering in the RJ line, the RJ Platinum-R, continues to build upon the RJ family history, combining incredible comfort with the very latest in safety and performance technology. These features combined with a new, modern design create the new standard for open face helmets.

The RJ Platinum-R is a top of the line lightweight, durable full-coverage helmet. Featuring Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+) construction, the RJ Platinum-R's shell offers a high-performance combination of advanced materials producing a lightweight shell with increased rigitay and elasticity, reducing inertian and impact energy in an accident.
