A Riverside Christmas Mystery: When Santa Took Over the Showroom 🎅✨

Something truly magical happened at Riverside Honda & Ski-Doo last night here in St. Albert—and we’re still finding gumdrops in the parts department.

It started just after closing. The snow had settled, the lights were low, and the only sound in the dealership was the soft hum of the heaters keeping our Alberta-servicing units warm for the night. Then, out of nowhere, we heard bells. Not the app notification kind… real sleigh bells echoing across the showroom.

Before we could open the doors, they swung open on their own—and in marched Santa Claus, boots dusted with snow, beard sparkling like fresh powder at the top of a mountain ride. Behind him? A full squad of elves carrying tool belts, clipboards, and more candy canes than humanly necessary.

They wasted zero time.

First stop: the Ski-Doos.
The elves climbed over them like seasoned mechanics, chattering and giggling as they loaded every sled with LINQ accessories—cargo boxes, fuel caddies, bags, racks… you name it. If it could clip, snap, or slide on, they added it. One elf even left behind a note: “Nothing says Christmas like being adventure-ready!”

Santa then sauntered over to the 2026 Can-Am lineup.
He examined a Maverick like he was choosing his next sleigh upgrade, nodded to himself, and said:

“Let’s give Alberta something sweet this year.”

Before we could blink, the elves pulled out peppermint-striped air hoses and proceeded to replace the air in every new 2026 Can-Am tire with candy cane mist. Somehow the PSI stayed perfect, and now the entire showroom smells like 600-horsepower Christmas cheer.

Meanwhile, the parts department—normally busy but manageable—became absolute elf chaos.
They were thrilled to discover our shelves fully stocked with:

• Oil change kits

• Filters

• Fluids

• Replacement parts

• And enough spark plugs to light a tree

They organized everything with suspicious levels of joy, singing while restocking like it was their North Pole workshop. One elf even alphabetized our gaskets.

But then… Santa found the Riverside online store, and that’s when things got wonderfully out of hand.

Elves popped onto every computer, tablet, and phone in sight. They perched on parts shelves, the service desk, the showroom counters—each clicking around, filling carts, and sending orders flying across Canada. This morning’s report looked like a blizzard of purchases from every province.

St. Albert, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Red Deer, Lethbridge…
Every corner of Alberta got a little bit of elf-approved Riverside magic.

By the time Santa was ready to leave, every unit in the store was accessorized, every Can-Am smelled faintly of peppermint horsepower, and our parts department had never looked more joyful—or more sparkly.

As Santa climbed back into his sleigh, he gave a nod toward the service bay and said:

“Riverside, you keep Alberta running. You’ve been VERY good this year.”

And with that, they were gone, leaving behind the best smelling showroom in the province and a whole lot of holiday spirit.
